thrill

Yesterday, while playing ping-pong, I was intrigued with the question:
"Why is it that the ball plays much better after a while ?"

I recognised it from playing squash... a squash ball, fresh out of the pocket isn't bouncy (at all!).

The obvious answers is.. it needs warming up.
That is why they invented squash ball warmers.

Bu, also sensing how this question may be pointing me into a relevant direction to look into for the scope of this project.... I figured there could be more to it.
For.. I am aware of a number of people who live and behave like 'cold squash balls'.
Only difference.. they don't get bouncy when being played with.
Could there be a relevant parallel?

This is the idea that came out of the overnight  'idea-warmer' this morning and it was bouncing a great deal and a immediately a lot of fun to play with ( and start thrilling my resonance systems with.)

First:
Putting a static thing into motion in any direction is a great deal more difficult, than altering the course and speed of something that is already moving in a direction.
(You may think I am adding ' in a direction' redundantly.. but I am not.. for there is also non-directional movement.. where the movement of the whole is not alligned on matching intentions)
On the (meta-physcial, social mental and emotional ) levels I am speaking of, a rather relevant observation to make.

Secondly:
Moving ( and being moved, for that matter) has very different qualities of 'bouncyness' to it.

"to produce words" doesn't equal "talking"
"to talk  doesn't equal "speaking"
"to speak" doesn't equal "communicating"

"to produce the words of a song" doesn't equal "singing"

"to put one foot in front of the other" doesn't equal "walking" ( ask any person who's had a stroke)
"walking" doesn't equal "dancing"

"to hear" doesn't equal "listening"
"to listen" doesn't equal "knowing"
"to know" doesn't equal "to understand"
"to understand" doesn't equal "being totally 'one' with it"

"to survive" doesn't equal "free flow living"
"free flow living" doesn't equal "thriving"

And.. a similar sequence exist in the domain of  'empathy'.. which is the scope of this research project.
For (simply observing the current human dynamics), there is less and less being present(ed) of the ability to resonate with someone's inner world.
And if you cannot relatively accurately place yourself in someone else's shoes, resonate in real-time with what is going on internally in vibes, the humans involved suffer from that.

What it is that is badly influencing the ability for (real!) smooth skilled broadband range empathy though the whole spectrum of the human frequency-ranges, remains to be foun dout.
But that there is something (collectively) doing damage to this human resonance system ( or preventing it from being activated), is for me as clear as day.
And that I suspect strongly it has something to do with (unnatural) apsects of our technical networks.. too.
As is clear with this research blog on that line of inquiry.

Thirdly:
Electrical systems need to be 'switched' on before their intrinsic capacity can be really experienced.
A device needs to internaly vibrate, in a way of putting it, before it can do what it is designed for doing.

(Any living being process is operated by electon-motions)

If I am not 'motivated', ' turned on', if I am not in any way 'thrilling' already ( for  no task yet, just for being, thrilling stationary, in a way, in 'first fear' , having some 'bounce' and vibrational qualities of smooth weaving 'waves' to me....I don't 'feel' like thriving, dancing, singing...whatever and I am not capable of empathising (not even with myself) .

Nothing can ' move' me,  for my resonance system is 'static', when 'switched off.
All my molecules may be there, doing their things, performing their tasks.
Even firing a great deal of neurons, backwards and forwards.

But those may not be the crucial 'parts' that need to be brought into movement.
That movement may not be the directional/intentional movement needed for the resonance system to be 'warmed up' enough to be 'set in motion', to be able to be moving emotionally with the currents of here-and-now.

What if.. there are physical elements to this human interaction resonance-system that are ltteraly being 'stuck' ( 'clued' into one, not weaving position, ofr instance.....or not moving in a clear liquid current anymore, but in some glubby polluted gel, delaying and altering the natural smooth and free movement....) .
I know that hairs can 'stand up straight' when electrified.. hearing is done using tiny little hairs tranferring movement!
Would such tiny elements be able to 'vibrate' when their environment is 'stunning' them?

It is interesting that yesterday I also looked at Villa Volta, a fun-park feauture where a house 'spins around you', in strange parts and configurations. In reality, its an illusion of a combination of various (minor) movements and  the inventors are playing tricks with your senses.
The soft fabrics ( like curtains) , for instance, are stiffened with glue, although appearing to be soft and 'freely hanging'.
You then base your other sensoric information (what you see) on false assumptions, you could only verify if you could feel the fabric, see the mchanism as a whole work.
Even people who know of and understand the mechanics behind the ilusion, are fooled by their own senses, once they are 'in ' it.

Fourthly:

Of course individual humans me come is various ball-parks, like squashballs do.
Their 'soul-mission' in life, may have different purposes of 'play' and so different densities of 'soul-substance' , matching their purpose.
So, some people may have a an intrinsically 'slow' empathy response time, others a 'quick' one.
Depending on circumstances and skill levels of players, they all have their 'right place'.

But every 'ball' (that is intact)... can bounce and can be played with.
