foucault
Yesterday, I came across Foucaults pendulum.
I watched with fascination this 'thing' that had not been part of my educational curriculum so far, I don't think.
I found this video on Youtube, very clearly showing and explaining what it is, what it 'does' and how the differences occur when is placed on various locations on the earth sphere's surface and what someone looking at it, can observe to 'happen' ( although something else is in reality ' happening', than how it looks)
(It is in French ( which is no language problem for me), but with animations that speak for itself, I reckon.)
In the light of being pointed towards the idea that something needs to be 'turned on', 'set in motion with direction' first, before it can work with the resonances and movements that are present in the here and now.... this physical device shows a gorgeous example that is earth-movment operated.
As an empath, who can sense the inner world patterns someone is oscillating on, if I observe the pattern for a while by resonating 'with it', I saw this as a physical example of what happens in the inner world.
I can sense 'where someone is' , in which part ( and position, often) of the 'sphere' of the whole spectrum of possibilities of the human emotional range.
Espceccially, if we are both set 'still' for a brief moment, then ' gently set in free motion' with all (mental social) boundaries that can ristrict the free movement removed... my notion of.."let be what is, now, here"
Then, ones pendulum starts to 'swing' in a pattern, which one can (simply.. when you know how) observe.
And just as Foucaults Pendulum shows different patterns on different places.... you can know where the pendulum is placed.
Of course, the videao shows clearly that there are several positions where the same pattern occurs.
It aslo shows, that if you where to put the pundulum on a train, it would in some direction maintain the same pattern and in other case alter it's patterns straigth away.
So....if I was the 'chariot', and I offer someone to put their pendulum on 'me', right where he or she is, then.... I first 'stand still', to get an idea of the possible positions ( given that my own 'pendulum' also swings with the motions of the sphere in that place) and then..... I start to move.
(For apparently, I know energetically how to set things in motion that are standing still.)
Gently moving the chariot away in various directions, I see the pattern either alter slightly (or stay the same).
That is giving me lots of information of where somebody is and wishes to move to, freely and happily.
I feel it if they are 'bumping' into a particle ( an article) of their (collective) beliefsystem, for the 'swing' gets interrupted.. a hickup.
If there is no here-and-now real boundary ( I know that for, my pendulum swings freely around, and the hickup gets repeated whenever the pedulum is about to swing in a certain direction.. I know exactly in which direction of their own beliefsystem ( theme, or even article) they need to look.
(For it will then change 'form' usually.. disappear as an unfree (p)article)
Which is all interesting in itself, giving an outward image to how things feel inwardly when I am tuning into someone, to help assess and free up their inner space and understanding, with my empathic skills.
With the interesting observation how 'important' for this proces to 'work' the role of the observer is ' looking back onto the device'.
For... if you place yourself in the ' shoes' of the device ( look at the video) .... it is just swinging backwards and forwards. It isn't making any loops and figures! That 'appears to be happening' though the moving contextual circumstances it is placed upon.
Which comes very close to the spiritual and self-developments 'skill' to be able to look back onto your own patterns, from a littte (emotional) distance, allowing 'it' to freely be.
In the light of this project, it also points more deeply in a direction to investigate.
What is..... we are as humans equiped with a physical equivalent of such a device?
I can't recall having a pendulum swinging in my body as the pendulum swining in the Pantheon in Paris... but maybe it is much smaller.
I entered a fascinating world of 3d-orientation devices yesterday... also piezo-electricity, used in vibro-gyroscopes ( to allow drones to adjust for kichups in flying straight....)
